Coffee Shop Franchise Fit Out
Fit Out Finance was recently pleased to offer funding for the fitout of a small franchised coffee and cake shop to a start-up franchise in London.
The franchisor is currently little-known. However, they are gaining ground fast and are earning a good reputation for the consistent quality of their product. We are pleased to be their chosen funding partner for all aspects of the fit-out of their retail units. From initial works, through solid installations such as food counters to cooking and display equipment.
The franchisee had left the London rat-race to open a franchise in a north London station. He had used his own resources to fund the legal fees, franchise cost and preliminary works. He then turned to us to provide lease finance for a range of behind-the-counter items, including a toaster and waste paper basket. With many items on a 9-week lead time, the customer signed a pre-delivery letter. This enabled us to pay the supplier well before goods were in-situ.
Many operators are aware of the availability of funding for larger, well-known franchises. But the mainstream lenders often turn their noses up at younger, growing brands. Often leaving the franchisee to fend for themselves financially. At Fit Out Finance we are happy to provide funding for a variety of premise-based franchises in areas as diverse as: home improvements, food & beverage, hospitality and leisure and, in one case, clothing repairs.
Benefits
Franchising can be a great way to enter a retail environment. This enables you to select your franchise and location with care. However, there are significant up-front costs to be met. Fortunately Fit Out Finance are happy to help with up to 100% of the costs of starting your franchise business – including in some cases the cost of the franchise itself.
Judicious use of asset finance has enabled this franchisee to pay for fit-out costs with future revenues rather than dipping into personal reserves. On the back of this success we can look forward to helping many of the queue of potential franchisees to open their business.
